Google Universal Analytics available to all users for better understanding visitor interactions

Google has announced the Google Universal Analytics beta is available for all Google Analytics users. Previously only available to Google Analytics Premium customers, current Google Analytics users will need to create a new property and insert a new code snippet.





This new feature enables better understanding of visitor interaction on your website from multiple devices by enabling:

  • Understanding how customers interact with your businesses across many devices and touch-points,
  • Insights into the performance of your mobile apps,
  • Improvements of lead generation and ROI by incorporating offline and online interactions so you can understand which channels drive the best results,
  • Improved latency on your site by reducing client-side demands.


There are no instructions yet by Google on how to convert an existing Google Analytics account into Universal but if you’re setting up a new website for the very first time you can choose the Universal option from the beginning. Google did announce a migration guide for current users will be coming soon, however if you can’t wait to try it out, just set up a new property in your Google Analytics account.
